[QUOTE="Detecto92, post: 1557514, member: 75105"]At a yardsale today I bought a brand new Kodak Easyshare DX6490. 4MP sounds wimpy right? Well MP is not the big factor, the optics are. This has a schneider kreuznach variogon lens. (Say that 3x fast). Price was $5. It was so cheap because she could not find the charger. It had a brand new rechargeable battery with it as well. I was a little skeptical as I've never used nor owned a Kodak, but I figured at $5, I could get at least $20 if I didn't like it. Luckily the new battery had enough charge in it to snap 1 macro picture. I picked up a new charger for $8 on eBay. So I'm in for $14. I am really amazed at the macro capabilities of this camera. The current camera I was using for coins was actually my mom's (Was mine, I gave it to her) 10mp Nikon camera. It's a nice cam, but the macro is horrible. I was blew away at the image it took. I've owned a $200 16.1 MP Canon ELPH series, that could not produce such a nice macro. Only thing that rivaled this was my Nikon DSLR. So here I have it, stunning macro images for $14.
