My MPC Series 681 Set is close to perfection !!

So it sounds like you used these? What Series ? if you were in Vietnam you most likely used this Series 681 or the 641

Yup, I used Series 681, August 1969-70.

 

The eagle on the 5 and the tank on the 10. Are. Awesome.

It,s funny, that out of all the MPC sets this is the only one that depicts actual branches of the military or any seens for that matter

 

I recall stacks and stacks of $20's on the tables in the NCO gaming room. A lot of money changed hands over Blackjack back then.

 

Was that all serviceman at the games ? i know there was still a black market allot of MPC was destroyed as well by Army finance

Yes, US Military that were NCO Club members only were allowed into the club. The club where I saw those stacks of MPC was at Nha Trang AB.
