Wayne Miller, a well know dealer and silver dollar specialist here in Helena, was robbed this week. The strange thing is, the thieves only took silver dollars. They left gold coins laying in the cash register. They were in and out in a matter of seconds, and apparently knew what they wanted. A reward is offered. https://www.ktvh.com/news/thieves-take-56-000-of-silver-dollars-from-downtown-helena-store
Very sad and sickening! I hope they catch them and they may. These people go elsewhere to turn coins in somewhere and it only takes one person to report asap! Hope so!
Use them for that infamous elevator myth. You remember the one that went like this: If you were standing in an elevator and all of a sudden it just free-fell from 100 stories up, right at the very moment the elevator hit the ground, you jumped up, you wouldn't be hurt in the fall. I know there's an elevator specialist on this forum that probably has heard of this myth before. We could use these thieves to test out this elevator myth/theory. Right before leasing the elevator from the 100th floor, use the intercom to remind the "passengers" to jump up right before the elevator hits the ground in order to survive. Spoken in the same manner as Bruce Willis advising Lamont to hold up a pack of cigarettes, "Don't be afraid".
