I needed to show my latest coin which I received today. It took a while but it was worth the wait! I believe it's one of the largest Judaean coins (25mm). Almost as large as a U.S. Quarter. I ordered it from a Vcoins dealer in Israel. I have a coin on order (a Mattathias Antigonus bronze coin) which is another of the large Judaean coins at 25mm. The next coin on my wish list is one of the large Judaean Bar Cochba War coins. I appreciate having so many knowledgeable friends and acquaintances on the Coin Talk Ancients Forum! I've always been interested in the Jewish revolt & Judaean coins. One day I'll start my collection. When I do I'm sure I'll reflect back on your posts for some guidance. But for now I have to many blank spots in my current collections. Great pick!!
My bro just picked up one of the Bar Kochba silver coins (zuz I think) in the last CNG auction. I'd like to get one of the bronze ones myself, but that's out of the question, at least for now. Erin
