The only thing I can think of is that someone got into their (Grandpa&#039;s) private stash! Odd though - I found 18 wheaties in that batch and they were all common. When I found the 1907 BU it was at the top of the first bag and these 4 were in the bottom of the second bag, so somewhere I think somebody grabbed 5 Indians they didn&#039;t care about and cashed them in. It&#039;s sad, but on the 4 I found - you could tell wear was beginning on them as they are bright coppery along common wear spots. Glad I was able to rescue them from further damage. Glad they ended up in my hands too! hehehe ... To get just ONE indian head in a bag of pennies is phenominal - but now I&#039;ve got 5 this year! But again, thanks to someone cashing them in of course. When I got the 1879 ...
