    CLAUDIUS, A.D. 41-54. AE As (10.01 gms), Western 'Branch Mint', ca. A.D. 41-50. NGC Ch VF, Strike: 4/5 Surface: 2/5. Light Scratches.


    cf. RIC-100. Obverse: Bare head left; Reverse: Minerva advancing right, brandishing spear and holding shield.

    Estimate: $100 - $200.

    Nice! Great choice for a first slab! I like that it's decent sized too, because you can see more detail...

    I like it! That's pretty impressive for your first slabbed coin. I think my first slab was a buffalo nickel.

    I’m new to this but have read enough to buy the coin I want to look at.
    I lost out on several that I didn’t think looked as good, but also didn’t mention light scratches on the slab.
    The auction process is quit amazing and moves fast.

    I didn’t want y’all laughing right out of the gate; there’s time for that.
    I’ll figure out this buying thing like everyone else did. The BP is a killer, but I’ve got a genuine graded coin.

    Great coin!

    My first slabbed coin was this.....in OGH PGGS
    Since that time 1987/ I have added 300+ slabbed AV coins/ many more though in SAFLIP holders:D That AV 100 Frcs was from Stacks event cost $470.oo IMG_0936.JPG IMG_0935.JPG
