    Australia can bring out all the Turtle, Platypus, Koala or whatever coins it wants. To me the originals (and best) will always be the Kangaroo and Kookaburras.

    I have 5 Kookaburras. 1992, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009...

    It was then silver rocketed. I have yet to catch up... I'm sure I will one day.

    If the object is just to buy silver rounds, this might not be the way to do it.

    I have all of them and they are one of my favorite series from the Perth Mint. Now they are going to start producing high relief versions for around $100 a pop. I do like them, but not that much. I'll just stick with the regular 1 oz's. I only wish I had a nice display case for them.
