This is the first example of a Hermosillo mint 1/2 real that I have ever seen in person. It unfortunately appears to have been cleaned with silver polish, but the details are still relatively strong. I find this coin particularly interesting in that it has an over-date, over-mint mark and an inverted numeral in the date (as well as other die work issues). The photographs are taken at an angle to catch the light, otherwise my iphone is very bad at capturing details
