NGC just received my first submission! I know these coins are not high grade but look very nice to me(I love me some worn/dark toned morgans). Lets see the coins that are up for grading! 1888-O $1 1882-P $1 (This coin has a nice light cloudy toning on the obverse) 1878-CC [/IMG] I will reveal the grades when I get them in-hand in a couple of weeks, I think they will give people enough time to narrow down their guesses.
25/63/10 I might hope for a 12 on the CC but believe the reverse will pull it down. Really I think the obverse makes 12, the reverse rim wear makes for a VG10 overall grade. Nice coins! Love circulated CCs
I'm not much on grading but would like to know, if you will be so kind, as to what you had to pay for this, your first submission.
Probably with NGC (assuming he is not assigning VAMs or other varieties/errors) then probably about $75 (if the NGC website is up to date). $25 a coin to me is just way too much to be charging, but its the way it is.
$20 per coin, only thing that really screws you over is that they have to insure the package back and they charge $21 for 1-3 coins, they also have a 8 dollar handling fee. I feel like grading is not "I have to get every coin graded that I own" but if it's a nice coin and you want to protect it then slab it.
