Possibly so. A new collector is born. Whether he remains in these straits is uncertain. Still, he is a collector indeed. :)

I remember that my first gold coin wasn't my only gold coin for very long at all.

Well I have to ask, how do you find something that nice at that price ? What is the weight of a coin like that yo get it for $186.00 ? WOW I look for things like that all the time.

It's 1/10 of a Troy oz. About the size of a dime. Beautiful though.

Ah, brings me back! My first gold coin was the 1/10th ounce proof version from the year prior. Turned out to be a mistake--I should've nabbed the fractional buffalo instead!

$186 is well within the range of what the 09' 1/10 MS70 ER are going for ($150-200). Congrats.

I posted these pictures under world coins. It came from my moms house after her passing. It, along with another coin were sitting in the bottom of a drawer. Any ideas. DSC08069 (2).JPG DSC08068 (2).JPG
