My first Bust Half

Nice coin as all have said. A little work with the reference book and you will get it figured out. Not always easy, but still fun. Enjoy.

I do believe it is in fact an O-110. Nice pickup.

Notice the placement of the T in States in relation to the I in pluribus, The date is a small date, notice the 8 being lower than the 1. Also take note of the flat based 2 in the date. All places to look when trying to attrib a BHD. There are more diagostics available for this marriage as well that can not be seen on yours. A Dot beneath forecurl and a break to the right of the clasp, There is generally a line joining the liberty band and the cap at the upper left corner of the band as well which can be seen on higher grade specimens.

Thanks Jim, I read those pointers in the Overton book. The seller indicated the flat 2 in his description of the coin. Part of the attribution process i suspect.

One thing; the edge lettering on the coin is far superior to that of our modern presidential dollars....guess the ancients had a better lock on technique (LOL).
