A recent move to a &quot;new&quot; (actually quite old) apartment turned out to be rather cost intensive, so there isn&#039;t that much disposable cash right now. But on the other hand, my lack of coin purchases is largely also due to the exploding prices for ancient coins. We all know that our hobby has become a lot more expensive recently, and I&#039;m sure I&#039;m not the only one who again and again looses out on auction bids that would have had a good chance of success 18 months ago. Hopefully, some rich people will rediscover playing golf and stop collecting ancients once all of this is over!</p><p><br /></p><p>To curb my frustration, I pulled the trigger on this little LRB bargain. It&#039;s nothing mind-blowing, but the Claritas-type was still lacking from my collection and I like the portrait.
