My First 2010 Shield Found in circulation

The cafeteria at work has had them regularly for a few weeks now. At first it was a bit exciting, now they are even in the "leave a cent, take a cent" cup at the register. I still set them aside and they make their way to the 'coin room' at home regardless.

The only 2009 OR 2010 cents that I've seen outside of mint sets were Canadian.

 

Just started seeing them regularly here in NJ. Today i got a formative years, and a shield in my change from one transaction. My first shield "find" this year came on memorial day weekend at the grounds for sculpture over in hamilton. It is a big 40 acre park full of statues and other "art". Anyway i found one sitting on top of a bronze sculpture that had toned a weird purple color.

 

How cool. I left the first couple I found on my mom's grave marker. Maybe since I have been getting so many, I will start leaving some in wierd locations ?
