So this looks to match the B-5, BB-27 3 leaves variety, except I can’t find a die state like it at all. According to CoinFacts, the obverse die begins to buckle but on line the reverse has a big break between OF AMERICA and I can’t find any other examples pictured or written of like it. Anyone know?

Is that a cud near the second star opposite the 5 on the date?

I agree it is the BB-27. Below observations are made with reference to Bowers' book.

"Die State I: Perfect reverse...one in 20 to 30 1795 BB-27 dollars is of this state."

Bowers does not mention a die crack on the reverse anywhere near OF AMERICA, only from the tip of the left stem to border.

Do you mean the coin you showed, or do you mean something else you saw on-line?

The coin you showed shows something between OF and AM but I can't say it's a die crack. Do you have this coin in hand?

Yeah it is my coin. In hand. I think a friend convinced me it was a delamination. Because a die break there just doesn’t follow the progression of the die states.

I would love to see that coin in person! I am looking for one in VF-20 to 30 for my type set.
