You have to give anything posted by xGAJx a lot of weight. He's a coin dealer. He says so in his profile. That's why he'll tell you how much a dealer would pay for any coin posted, even if you haven't asked that question.
I re-read your original question and perhaps I can answer again, more clearly. So, What's the Value & Should it be graded by a third party company? As noted, a raw example like yours would fetch around $35-40 on eBay. Getting it graded costs $25 (+or-) so as it sits the answer would be no, but if someone else here might gauge the grade at Ms-64 or better the answer would be yes. I personally don't see it being quite that high though. Hope that helps
I'd give it a 4 from the first set of pics it looked like a possible 5 or 6, but the last set shows that there isn't enough lustre .IMO
It's clearly a 1913 Type I Buffalo that looks like it sits in the AU/MS realm. It is not worth sending in for certification as you would pay about as much to get it into a holder as the coin is worth.
