I paid with a $10 bill and recieved a $5 silver certificate and this 1909 Lincoln as my change. I turned around and sold the $5 SC for about $12 in silver change (mercury dimes, pre-65 Kennedy&#039;s, Roosevelt&#039;s, Washingtons, etc).
