    That 43 was put on the coin after it left the mint. A damaged coin.

    This was done post mint. Not a mint error. Someone counter stamped the coin after it left the mint.

    Can anyone be so kind as to tell me what kind of marks are on this penny , is that normal wear and tear? And then there is 2 Like wierd dot looking things above the U on the back. Just thought it was wierd looking I don't know anything about coins but I got on here to see if one of you awesome coin experts could maybe tell me what those are , thank you very much and have a blessed day.
