One of my more recent purchases. Some may have seen this before on the last Triskeles auction. Especially the seller which I believe to be a CT member. AE 24.7 / 8.4g o: IOVLIA ΔOMNA CEB, draped bust right r: AVGOYCTHC TRAIANHC, Artemis advancing right, holding bow and drawing arrow from quiver, hound running right at her side. Varbanov 1043 A little bit about Augusta Traiana. Founded by Emperor Marcus Ulpius Traianus around 106 AD. This city had so many names in the past which shows its history. The current name it has now is Stara Zagora. It became the first Bulgarian state, Vereya in 812 AD. I have a strange interest in unique/ odd name or places. Its also the first coin I have with a dog on it, well I have a wolf coin but not an actual dog. Feel free to share anything you like.
