Yeah, overlook.........they overlook the fact that the linked article prices are way out of proportion compared to what one would actually receive.
Haha, those prices are for very high grade coins. The average circulated collection is worth a very small fraction of those prices.
Just what we all need: Some writer being paid by the Web click appointing himself a coin expert. Think I will see if I can contact the knothead and tell him coins aren't printed. (I otherwise wouldn't bother but this is what happens as I come down with a cold.)
I got me some sweet "printed" uncirculated Barber dimes. I bet those are worth tens of thousands! NOT!
After reading this article, is it a wonder we get people coming to the site every week looking for opinions on this rare coin and how much it's worth? But, but, it's the low leaf variety. I saw where it's worth $300! You guys are just trying to scam me out of this coin.....
steel cents worth $10? my local dealer sells them for $.25. They also sell Franklins for $10 Plus, the high/low leaf sells for $50 on a good day. And lol, Kansas printing machine made me laugh. Plus coins are minted, not printed.
It sounds like the author was quoting Mike Mezack prices. Come to think of it, I think he's north of Mike Mezack prices on at least a couple of them.
