    I am showing (some of) my Celtic coins, with their attributions.
    I am by no means in a 'familiar' place with Celtic coinage and if I have attributed any of them incorrectly, then please let me know.

    CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Senones. Yllucci. Circa 52-27 BC. Æ 17mm. Celticized head with 'wild' hair right; wreath below chin / YLLVCCI, Celticized eagle left; pentagram to right, X and two pellets-in-annulets below. D&T 2636; Depeyrot, NC V, 129; CCCBM III 152; cf. Scheers 374; de la Tour 7508

    CELTIC, Britain. North-Eastern series ('Corieltauvi'). Uninscribed. Circa 45-10 BC. AR Unit (13mm, 1.34 g,). South Ferriby type. Struck circa 45-10 BC. Celticized horse left, ringed pellets around /Boar right; Leins 1a; Van Arsdell 875; SCBC 396

    CELTIC, Durotriges. Uninscribed. Circa 55 BC-AD 45. AR Stater (18.5mm, 3.63g,). Durotrigan E, Billon Stater Abstract (Cranborne Chase) type. Devolved head of Apollo right / Disjointed horse left; pellets above, pellet below, pellet-in-lozenge above tail, [zigzag and pellet pattern between two parallel exergue lines. Van Arsdell 1235-1; SCBC 367

    CELTIC, Danube Region. Imitating Philip II of Macedon. Circa 2nd Century BC. AR Drachm (15mm, 2.69 gm, 1h). Kapostal type. Celticized laureate head of Zeus right / Rider on horseback left. Lanz 811 (same dies); CCCBM I S100; KMW 1441; OTA 500.
    But is that a Lion (L.)?

    CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Senones. Circa 100-50 BC. Potin 20mm (3.54 g,). Horse left; pellets around./Helmeted head left. D&T 2646; Depeyrot, NC VII, 27 (Remi); CCCBM III 379-87.

    Cool coins @Topcat7 ! I hate to post before receiving the coin (I've jinxed myself before by doing so and the coin never arrived), but I won my 1st Celtic silver coin from last weekends GmbH auction. It's a Philip ii imitation:

    :) Well done, sir. Cool and neat set (the Durotriges pic is upside down :rolleyes::D and yer Danube is from Hungary: the Suessiones were a Belgian tribe :banhappy:;)).
