Ok, technically it isn't my birthday until monday - but since I'm going to be out of town on a company audit all next week, my wife and kids decided to celebrate early. I couldn't wait to hop online and share my new piece with everyone. Along with this coin, I got a hardcover edition of of the Standard Catalog of World Gold Coins, and Numismatic Forgery by Charles M. Larson (which has been an insteresting read so far this evening). Ain't she beautiful? My wife has quite an eye for what I like. ....well, looks like my computer is a foreign host again. Oh thank you, thank you everyone. I was quite pleased. You know, I particularly like the fact that this one is a slightly off center strike. For some reason, with this example, it adds to it somehow. Of course, that's just my opinion - I think it gives the piece more character
