My first silver ring!!! Looks Sterling. And a 1988 Jamaica fifty cent piece!!! That is weird I found this. Right on the edge of the woods plus four quarters. One cent a monster cap and two can openers. IMG_20190501_192323862_BURST001.jpg IMG_20190501_192720905_BURST001.jpg IMG_20190501_192445377.jpg IMG_20190501_192833907.jpg

No stone in the ring but I have stones to put in it!! Which One looks better the peridot or the garnet?
The peridot is 1.90ct and it's my birth stone. The garnet is my grandmothers birth stone CM190501-194251006.jpg CM190501-193955003.jpg CM190501-193933001.jpg

Cool finds, I love dug up stuff.

I have a hobby of returning them to a displayable state.

    Enjoy

I like your finds. Keep up the search.

    Peridot or garnet? Hmmmmmm
They both look good. Make it interchangeable. Don't permanently mount either ;)

Wow @Shrews1994 - Both look great. I like the idea of wearing your grandmother's stone. It looks perfect. Congrats on your finds. They're getting better! :-D

Yes I like that idea too but I would not be able to wear it though my fingers are too fat...lol. I have a whole jewelry box full of her rings she gave me. I'm glad my findings are getting better it was really getting dull but I still go out see what I can get.

I think that ring is sterling silver. No silver coins though. Yeah that would hurt, you wouldn't get far digging concrete.

I ever find anything too, but because I go from my house to my work walking every day. Just 13Km to go, and 13Km to go back.

As long as you enjoy yourself all finds need not all be 90% silver coins. Fishing does not always result in a yummy Salmon. Meow would see clouds part and angels sing when holding up high the first 90 percenter found detectoCating! Treasure!!!!!!!! New wing in the Cat hoard!!!!!!

Nice finds. If it is sterling it should be marked .925 somewhere on the ring. Look around and see if you can find it.

Looks like it has a 429 number on it. What number could that be? Or that is a 925 ? The 9 looks like a 4 CM190501-211728003.jpg

If in fact that is a 429 then it is 42.9% silver.
925 means it is 92.5% silver.
