Large, seldom seen , like most of the Bremen issues of that period, very imposing imperial double-headed eagle and two badass lions holding the key of the city!</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1043718[/ATTACH] </p><p>4.1764 E Prussia taler. Very hard to find and a real catch for what i've paid for it, minted in Kaliningrad/Koenigsberg, plus the name Frederic the Great speaks for itself!</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1043719[/ATTACH] </p><p>5. 1693 Hungary taler, Kremnitz mint. A huge coin, much bigger than the Hall issue and of course, the emperor himself, Leopold I Hogmouth, the jaw and the Battle of Vienna! Can't say i know anything about Pope Clement XI, but the popular St.George slaying the dragon theme, more common with Mansfeld talers or english crowns, made me say yes!</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1043722[/ATTACH] </p><p><br /></p><p>7.1697 Hohenlohe taler. First of all, GFN, Georg Friedrich Nürnberger, the mintmaster, he has his name on some awesome and rare pieces issued in/for </p><p>Nurnberg, Hohenlohe, Bamberg, very collectible for the right pocket! Then we have Wolfgang Julius, Count of Hohenlohe-Neuenstein, who fought in the Balkans and eventually became a Field Marshal in the Imperial Army!</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]1043723[/ATTACH] </p><p>8 & 9 .1717 Austria taler, Vienna mint/ 1721 Austria taler, Hall mint. A tough choice for me as i'm still unsure of which bust is more impressive, Leopold I, Joseph I or Charles VI?
