All great coins for sure!! Really like the Divo Sept Sev and the Geta with mutton chop side burns!! Also the Caracalla is great; the lion with thunderbolt is a type I would like to have someday! Yours has great eye appeal!!
Definitely some nice coins for sure. I like a lot of those bronze provincial coins. #1, Antioch, Psidia. Very nice Nike holding a trophy. #2, Imperial, pretty nice Caracalla, Victory reverse. Like the patina. #6, Caracalla and Julia Domna. Moesia Inferior, Marcianopolis. I like these type of dual busts and the dark green patina is really nice. #8, Imperial, Caracalla Antoninianus, Both sides of the coin have been very well engraved. Caracalla bust is really well done for his older meaner look. I like the lion with the thunderbolt in his jaws. Not as well engraved for the reverse, unfortunately.
The lion is finely rendered in superb style. Perhaps you refer to some flatness of striking on the lion's head and mane, which has nothing to do with the quality of the engraving.
Most of the lion is definitely finely engraved. Yes, it's the flatness of the die on the head that holds the reverse back some. I hope you take no offense my friend, those are fine coins indeed.
