So after putting up cement board to create the new tub area, we put a new tub in (Yeah!!!) We can now finally take baths..... as we were really stinkin' before.... LOL! These pics are further along. We also rebuilt the closet which originally housed the furnace. We put of new drywall and built shelves. My wife was excited to have more storage space. Anyone that lives in a older home can relate on how there is very little storage space.
Lastly, the near final pics as I am still waiting for the sink to come in. I spoke with the Lowes guy today and he said it has been shipped and either Monday or Tuesday it should be in. This was the last of three major projects that I had in mind when I bought the house 3 yrs ago. I did one a year. This one really hurts when I think of all the coins I could have bought..... but I have a happy wife and sometimes that is more important. But she also sacrificed as well...... we are celebrating our 10 yr wedding anniversary next month. When we got married, we didn't have any money to buy wedding rings so we used our parents. 5 yrs ago, she finally saved up and bought me a wedding band. I promised her that at 10 years she will have hers. Well..... it was either her wedding band or a new bathroom. So she sacrificed too! Thanks again to everyone who participated. :hail:
Thanks for the contest. Congrats to the winners Remodeling looks good. Do I see a toilet in the bathtub?
Well done! FWIW I have never experienced a remodel that didn't involve some "faking stuff in" because the levelocity/plumbness is usually off. A thoneroom to be proud of :thumb: congrats.
here it is if it worked 60d quarter 60d dime unsure what middle item is? either way, they fit in my coin book nicely with all the other coins.
The middle is a bronze first spouse metal. Jackson's Liberty. They make them in half ounce gold and bronze for a little more affordable version. http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wc...ctId=14606&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=21239
Hey Chris, glad you got the coins ok and that you like them. That quarter is slabbed, if I am not mistaken, by a defunct slabbing company. The number is eqivolent to a tracking/identification/serial number and may or may not have been any of the above. Although the quarter is graded MS 67, it is realistically probably closer to a 64 or 65. If I remember correctly, it was a very nice quarter with a decent strike. Thanks again. Joe
Jac, now here is a novel idea, talk about saving some time. Mounting the commode in the bath tub. Hmmmmm
