my 1968-D CENT

    i get this from a gas station few weeks while i was on vacation in traverse city Michigan look like the mint mark is on top of something or doubled can any one agree with the first grader thanks in advance to all also the nose look doubled Scan1968-d cent.jpg

    I don't see any doubling in the mintmark. It looks like there are some scratches to the south which is PMD

    Notice how all the letters and the 8 are very close to, or touching the rim. This is doubling caused by die deterioration doubling ( No add. value) as well as the postmint damage on the date and mm. IMO, Jim
