I purchased this 1882 Carson City feeling that is is good enough to send out and grade. Has very nice luster obverse and reverse. The breast feathers on the reverse are strong for the year. There is a light rim ding at the one 0'clock. I always have my idea of, when I buy any coin, will it be good enough to get a high grade? Fortunately and maybe being lucky, those coins I have sent off have come back with an XF or higher, so maybe my eyes aren't as bad as I thought. But what about you? Anyone sent out a coin knowing it was a high grade but came back lower. Share a picture and tell us why you 'knew' it was better than what it got. Thanks .
