She posted a thread about helping a friend of hers with a very nice collection of inherited coins. The friend knows nothing about coins and had no desire to keep them. I expressed an interest in some of the coins while talking to Pam and she asked her friend if they wanted to entertain any offers. They agreed. </p><p><br /></p><p>These were absolutely coins Pam could have kept in her own collection, but she determined that others would appreciate them more than she would. So she acted on both her friends behalf and mine to make everybody happy. The thing is, she included a nice &#039;extra&#039; that I mentioned I didn&#039;t own any and I knew nothing about. And another, just to bring a smile to my face. </p><p><br /></p><p>So thank you, Pam. You truly help to make this group of online strangers more like a community. </p><p><br /></p><p>And I&#039;ll state the obvious. Pam&#039;s photos blow mine away.
