Howdy folks, haven't posted in a while but last night the mother in law gave these to me. They were her late husband's and she said she thought I'd appreciate it since I do collect other silver coins and bars.
    Thanks!

I recently acquired some coins from Hong Kong and I've gotta say they are really nice. None of them were silver, but still great coins. I've always had a liking for the coin with the large man on it (i think they're called Fat Mans if I'm not mistake, the coin second farthest from the left). Great lot right there!

You might want to treat her something - that's quite a fair bit of money in them as they are worth way more than melt value!

Might want to do some research on them - never know if you have a key date hidden in them. Also note, some coins may be from Heaton mint.

Oh yes, I think she wanted to give me something for all the work I've been putting in at her house, I've been replacing all kinds of stuff and fixing stuff. I definitely know she appreciates it. I think I'd probably do some research to find out just for information's sake but this is not something I would ever think about selling.
    Thanks!

I also do distinctly remember one with an H mint mark. That's heaton I suppose?

Exactly! I myself was going to suggest a "box dollar" filled with dynamite or TNT but then I saw he was receiving the coin and not giving it out...
