Pretty good "hit rate" PM. Think maybe the oligarchs have put coin collecting on hold for a little while? Yes, kidding . . . nice haul!

Wow, some great gold pickups. I've enjoyed examining them.

I've just been reorganizing my Egyptian, Turkish, and other Ottoman collections. Except my collection is mostly silver and copper/bronze with very few gold coins.

Thanks everyone, almost died yesterday. \I was working on a clients lawn/ garden when an intense storm struck. Winds were at 160K. Trees down everywhere. I had three clients on street, so was able to continue work till 8:30PM. By then street was open for traffic again...

Glad you survived. We’re you hurt? Is your equipment OK? Any down power lines?

I ended up OK. I was working all day Sunday, most of Ottawa/ Orleans is still without power. Must have seen at least 200+ homes with trees on down on top of house/ garage/ downed powerlines. Our power was restored early Sunday morning. Thankfully, our area of Orleans escaped with no damage.:) Here is a photo of damage Rockland/ 10 kms from my place. hawkesbury-tree-1-5913923-1653168596422.jpeg

Yep. Same thing happens here when these large frontal storms hit here.
Hey, great news on your wins, btw!
Incredible coins... I would probably think myself almost unworthy to possess them they're so great.

Great job on the auctions, John, and that was one hell of a blow you had there! I went to sea for about 35 years and I don't think I ever saw any winds that strong in all the big storms I went through. Lots of job security for the guys with chain saws and back hoes.

Well sir, I'm impressed! I had to convert K to mph, which indicated 121 mph. Living in SW Louisiana, I've been through some hurricanes with sustained winds of 120-130ish mph. That's very hard to stand or walk in, so I applaud your strength and determination! I'm very glad you weren't hurt, nor your equipment. After winning 8 out of 12 bids, you don't need extra expenses, lol. I'm not making fun of your situation, it's just when you get through it, you tend to smile about, pretty much everything! Glad for your coin wins, too!

I've been in many wind storms growing up in the High Plains on the Nebraska-Wyoming border, but I don't think I ever experienced one like @panzerman did.
