I was (and still am) convinced that it was a least an MS65. As a matter of fact, my initial reaction to the auction was that the seller had photoshopped out the "S" mintmark.After I received the coin, I still felt convinced it was an MS65 as the fields were extremely nice. The luster had all the presentation of a silver business strike and if this coin had been a silver business strike, it would have graded MS66 easily. There was a disruption above the date though. Its a true bag mark that is really, just not that prominent. I sent the coin fro grading. Came back an MS64 Cracked it out and sent it in again Came back an MS64 Sent it in for regrading. Came back an MS64 When PCGS came up with their "+" grades, I sent it in and it came back an MS64+ <img src="http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u8/lcl1119/IKEs/For%20Sale/IKE1972T216549223PCGSMS64SlabObv-1.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> By then I was done with it and eventually sold it for around $650 but given the initial $750 auction price (yes...dumb) and all the grading fee's, it has proven to be my most expensive coin in both money lost and wisdom gained.[/QUOTE]
