questions on MPC's how widely are these collected? is this how military people get paid (currently)? are these dated? they seem to only have "series" on them What years were the notes above from? i've never seen one before ... but they are cool looking

I just finished my Series 641 set and am just waiting for the $5 note to come to my door step! Should be here in the Next day or so!!:thumb: When it gets here i will post the complete set for all to enjoy:hail:
Unlike many of the scenes on MPC which are based on actual pictures, the soldier on the Series 681 $20.00 is a product of the imagination of the engraver, Arthur W. Dintaman.
I would make a poll for MODERN, in use currency - in which case I would choose the $50 bill - most American paper we have nowadays...
All three Educationals, all Gold Certificates and almost all of the MPC's. $5 and $100 Red Seals hold a certain fascination as well.
"mpc", "piasters - P's" and "American Green"... all brings back memories of '68 -'70 across the pond in Vietnam, Republic Of . . .And Mama San always want "Melican Green, No P, No funny money" for services rendered . . . . LoL:hammer:
