I don't like them because every time I go to a coin show that's almost all you see in the display cases.

When I first started collecting coins in 1963, Morgans were the pop item. I sold produce from my wagon and with the profits I bought DMPL Morgans from several diff banks in San Diego. They were face value at the time but $1.00 was a small fortune for me at the time. I only saved the nicest DMPL,s. I liked only the select GEM BU coins as lesser grades were baggy and considered to be undesirable to collect. I ended up with about 50 coins and sold them to my friend,s dad, a mail carrier. I made a lot of money on them at $2-3.00 ea. I still like some ms65 DMPL morgans, but I can,t afford to own them. At least I had a few for a while!

Anyway, I don't hate Morgans, but here's a breakdown of coin shows in a nutshell:

    80% Morgans
    10% Gold Coins
    3% small cents
    1% commemorative coins
    2% Bust and Seated coins
    1% World Coins
    2% Other Dollar Coins
    1% other stuff

You go to a coin show and see table after table of Morgans... Where are the rare coins?

Also, go to Ebay listings or Heritage.
    Page after page of Morgans.

There's a reason the SBA was the shortest mint run in history. They could've done a better younger looking portrait of Susan B.

No. The FE cent was the shortest run with only two years of official production.
(They were in very high relief and were a pain to strike.)

People complained SBA,s were too close to quarter size, retailers also complained.

Yep. It was nicknamed the "Carter quarter" for a reason. :)

I remember when the SBA''s first came out I was 11 or 12 thought they was too cool. Until I plugged them in the soda machine as a quarter.
I do have several of them even though they're ugly

    Yup.
One person putting an SBA into a soda machine thinking it's a quarter and the machine gets jammed, losing a day's profits.

These are just a few. Think favorite ones. Taken with phone lighting is terrible, learning still.

Actually the small eagle quarter was a one year. As was the chain cent wreath cent and 1793 half cent And the no stars dime and half dime small eagle half and all of the flowing hair coins were 2 year issues

Maybe I should've said dollars. But even then not sure I'd be right there either.

Of dollars flowing hair was 1 1/2 year type small eagle bust 31/2 years and gobrecht awhile technically a pattern 3 then you got the heraldic eagle bust 6 years and the trade dollar 10 or 12 if you count the 84-5 proofs
