Morgan just back from pcgs

    DSCF5191.jpg DSCF5196.jpg DSCF5198.jpg DSCF5199.jpg he is a morgan that fooled me on the grade. I just got this coin in the mail today. I would like to know what grade you think the coin is. Sorry about the pictures as i am still having trouble down loading pictures on to this site. Jim

    High AU or Low MS (60-62)? Possibly even Genuine/Cleaned? There seems to be an abnormal amount of hairlines/scratches on both sides of the coin...

    Sorry, really can't tell from the pictures--too close. Need to see the entire coin both obverse and reverse.

    The only pictures I can get to download are the up close pictures. The pictures of the whole coin will not down load on to the site.

    You upload your pictures into this site, not download them on to it :smile

    Maybe that's why it doesn't work.

    Some photo software (e.g. Roxio PhotoSuite) have a "Photo Quality" slide bar under "save as; options". This allows you to adjust the fidelity (size) of the photos you save.

    The coin graded AU58 and the 1881CC I sent in with it came back a MS63. Now I am just waiting for the other 7 Carson City Morgans to get grades. In the last two weeks I bought 9 Carson City Morgan, seven raw coins and two GSA's. The two GSA are very nice, one 1880, 1880 over 79, reverse of 78, and the other was a 1885. The two GSA will get sent to NGC in the next few weeks. Jim
