Morgan grade opinions?

Took a flyer on this one this week, won't get for a week or two probably. Wasn't terribly expensive for a common date and mint. Will send it off for grading enventually, since it's basically a raw coin considering the credibility of this TPG. It was probably slabbed over 20 years ago. It's got lots of luster and some nice natural gold toning. It's got a weird spot on the cheek but other than that the coin seems lacking any major flaws and doesn't appear to be cleaned either. I think the photo will enlarge when you click on the image. Whatcha got?

Hello Barney! Looks like a MS64 from where I'm sitting.

 

I have to agree with @lordmarcovan

 

I wish I was better at grading. I can at best give it a WOW. Great eye appeal.

 

Also agree with LordM.

I hope I am wrong because I like that dollar. Here’s hoping it’s on the holder, not the coin.

Edit: Removed a comment that made me feel really stupid once I realized what I was really seeing. Putting grocery bag over my head now and hiding under the blanket.

At worst, probably a 62. From the pictures I can see a fair amount of marks on her cheek and one above the ear. Fields look pretty clear though. Probably end up 62 or 63, IMHO

 

If that is a gouge in the metal on the cheek it may not straight grade.

 

I am at 63 to 64 on that one, it would be hard to go any higher without the luster.

But of course they are. I used the seller's photos. The luster/toning combination in this one was too much to resist, but that chip is highly distracting. I hope it's the holder.

Remember that 83 CC that I had posted several months ago, used seller's unfocused photos on? It caused quite the stir, from AU 58 to even "it's fake" comments? I sent it off for grading, it came back MS63. You win some, you lose some when you buy online. I was actually disappointed.

Looks a little PL in those pics. Technical MS63. But I've a suspicion the market is going to like it even better.

The reverse is especially nice. Looks like die polish lines on it like you see on highly graded coins. Not that my statement makes sense, but a lot of highly graded coins have those lines. But sadly, it will go to ANACS. They are technical robots.

That spot? No, I see that and think unstruck Luster. It's just a loss of a small lamination IMO. If it is, then it adds a little bit of credibility to the coins condition, as not being messed with.
Anyways, here is a camera stand I made a few summers ago. The main part of photography I am learning is distance from lens, light, and white balance.
The wooden stand below allows a vertical adjustment and a tilt adjustment. Fits most new large size cell phones. They have the ability to take some mighty fine photos. You can take some photos when it comes in, just stabilize your phone.



PS the solid Mahogany came from an entrance open bookcase to the living room.
It was a fun remodel.

 

That is very innovative. I'm no carpenter or woods craftsman. I like your setup. I really just need a longer metal rod that fits my stand, and I'm good to go. I'm lazy though and easily frustrated talking to vendors and explaining my predicament and needs. Why? Nobody speaks the King's English anymore, everything is made overseas. I have zero tolerance for that after getting 20 spam calls a day from call centers from outside the USA.

 

Remodel, huh? I was going to say that it's an expensive thing to make but if it's just leftover than okay, I guess. LOL.
