Morgan Dollars

Hello,

I just got my first BU 1885 Morgan and I will also start collecting them but only uncirculated. Will gonna have to buy more. LOL

Morgan dollars are my favorite and overall affordable except some scary expensive ones

 

The first coin that I got looks really good and it is BU. I was looking at it and it looks like MS condition. Im very pleased with it. Show your Morgan when you have a chance. How long have you been collecting?

 

Just a few weeks . I have 7 Morgan’s though all MS - I’ll take pics

Try to diffuse or redirect your lighting. Great first try at it though.
If that coin is Bu the fields should photo, darker in the fields and frostier on the devices. It's a nice looking coin!

Nice looking coin.

I've been buying them for many years and have over 200 coins. Most are MS and some are circulated with rare dates. I buy at local coin shows. Example:

Morgans are by far my favorite! They're readily available in all price ranges.
But hang on to your wallet once you get into the higher grades of those Carson City beauties!

 

Yes they are pricey and will not get them unless they are decent price. I can live without them.

 

That's better than I can do with my camera so I don't even try anymore.
