    I'm new so please Forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong forum & if I am please Steer me in the right direction-Thanks!
    As I posted in the introduction section; I'm trying to find out information on the many coins my stepdad left behind after he unexpectedly passed away (Including 12 Morgan dollar coins). Any help would be much appreciated!
    This is the 1st of the 12 I'm posting:
    1879 Morgan Silver Dollar

    Welcome to CT Garfila! If you're looking for opinions on grade/value? best bet would be to post in What's it Worth thread, you'll get the most eyes on; I'm still trying to learn to grade Morgan's myself so I wouldn't want to guess!

    I search the newly listed items on eBay and this one popped up, I couldn't get it out of my mind so I just went ahead and purchased it for $37 w/free shipping.. rarely do I see a coin that gives me the "you have to buy this" feeling, so went with my gut.. hope its as nice as it looks.

    I sent in a 78 CC the other day that came back as 63. I guess I'm happy since I only have $250 in it but I really wanted it to be a 64. Oh how I love CC silver dollars.
