I wish I was living in your town! Because of the coin shortage my bank won't sell to anyone other than to businesses. Good Luck!

Thats almost the same for me out of the 4 banks in my area only 1 has some left overs.Very tough these days i can basically just get nickels and cents because the quarters are so much in demand haven't tried dimes in a while I always seem to find silver in them. But soon I might not be able to get anything i hate to say it but I think ill take a break for a few months.

I would be interested to find out if you found any Pre 64 coins. I am of the understanding that LOOMIS has a method of extracting those coins.

Pretty much all my CRH has been sourced through two branches of one of my credit unions. All others have tightened up on letting coin out in quantity. The one credit union is pretty local, small and has to pay to send out accumulated coin which is why they sell it to me, as I don't charge them to take the coin that builds up. They call me when they get to about $600-700 worth of cents, nickels, dimes and halves. I generally don't take quarters because I get too many Canadians.

the last 2 batches of nickels i searched, found a silver nickel in each, and a few 39's, lol in dimes, i usually need to go through about 150.00 worth to find one..when i was a kid (40 yrs ag0) i used to average 2 to 3 per roll, alas those days are gone for good

I hated the thought of not being able to CRH, but in the meantime I have used that time to organize my coins and am cataloguing them on the computer, not to mention I'm saving some $ during semi-difficult times. Still, give me those coins any day!!
