<p>[QUOTE="Troodon, post: 442767, member: 4626"]Hong Kong:</p><p><br /></p><p>Love the Standard Chartered Bank's 2003 series... similar to the series they did in the 1980's and 1990's, each denomination features a different animal from Chinese mythology (since they no longer made the 10, the chinze got dropped from the 50, and the dragon carp and dragon turtle got moved from the 10 and 20 to the 20 and 50, respectively). What's new this time around though is the reverse of each denomination features a scene of Hong Kong from different time periods: The 20 shows Hong Kong circal 1850; the 50, 1890; the 100, 1930; the 500, 1970; and the 1000, 2000. Have the 20, 50 and 100 so far and hope to get the last two next month or so.</p><p><br /></p><p><a href="http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view_enlarge.aspx?id=921575" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view_enlarge.aspx?id=921575" rel="nofollow">Hong Kong, Standard Chartered Bank, 20 dollars, 2003</a></p><p><a href="http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view_enlarge.aspx?id=921576" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view_enlarge.aspx?id=921576" rel="nofollow">Hong Kong, Standard Chartered Bank, 50 dollars, 2003</a></p><p><a href="http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view_enlarge.aspx?id=922014" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view_enlarge.aspx?id=922014" rel="nofollow">Hong Kong, Standard Chartered Bank, 100 dollars, 2003</a></p><p><br /></p><p>Poland:</p><p><br /></p><p>Two new notes, a 5000 zloty note featuring the composer Frederic Chopin (1810-1849), and a 20,000 zloty note featuring the nuclear scientist Marie Curie (1867-1934):</p><p><br /></p><p><a href="http://http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view_enlarge.aspx?id=921690" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view_enlarge.aspx?id=921690" rel="nofollow">Poland, 5000 zlotys, 1988</a></p><p><a href="http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view_enlarge.aspx?id=921691" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.banknotebank.com/coin_view_enlarge.aspx?id=921691" rel="nofollow">Poland, 20000 zlotys, 1989</a></p><p><br /></p><p>Slovenia:</p><p><br /></p><p>Not an actual legal tender note, this novelty was produced to celebrate Slovenia joining the Eurozone in 2007.
