I just added eight books to my page of free ancient-history books. Sunday I posted free history books (you pay shipping, in the US only) on this page: http://augustuscoins.com/books.html and 19 books were selected (and marked as gone). But many remain and I just added 8, mostly Roman (at the top of the "Roman" section). So, you might look again. The one trick is shipping is $3.50 for the first book, which seems a lot but that's about what it costs me, so it would be nice if you could combine it with already having paid that basic amount by buying a real ancient-coin book or catalog from: http://augustuscoins.com/numislit.html in which case additional books are 75 cents each for additional shipping costs. Another strategy is to order lots of the (almost) free books to amortize the shipping cost of $3.50 plus 75 cents each. Surprising to me is my favorite on the page is still there (I have my own copy I am keeping, and I won't say which one it is.)
