This is a follow up to a post I started about 6 weeks ago about all of the ads for fake Morgans on Facebook.

Check out today's fake Morgan ad on Facebook!

Apparently this is a famous collector, Ken Gronau, selling his collection through this ridiculous company advertising on Facebook. I've not heard of Ken (maybe someone else has).

He should be able to get a fortune for those Morgans... SINCE THEY ARE THE SIZE OF GRAPEFRUITS! Check out this photo of a slightly disheveled Ken (with the frumpy shirt and smirk) handing over his gigantic Morgans.

How do we get these of these scammers? At least there are still plenty of grammar and spelling errors on this site to tip off the buyers.

I wish there was a way to stop this, but, as long as there are uneducated bodies pretending to be coin collectors it will never stop.

Not really any of the above. They are actually counterfeits in halfway decent PCGS slabs that are being sold for pennies on the dollar.

it just so happens that in this case, the bad job they did on Photoshopping Morgans into this photo is a great tip off.

Unfortunately, some of their other ads are a bit more convincing.

They actually look like pictures of coins larger than actual size.

Nope... they are advertised as Morgans. This is a case of bad Photoshop.

When I clicked on the link, it talks about how lucky we'll be to get his amazing collection of Morgans (from China).
