    i love that new silver conche man, that is awesome. it's a nice big coin also, my brain sized it as a little 18 mm or so thing before i read your description.

    nice write up as well!

    i don't have a mollusk coin. i can make a molluscan tangent post however.

    zeus ammon with this curly horns.

    where the name of the extinct ammonite cephalopods comes from. based on their cool shells.

    and i'll be darned, i didn't know this util i was looking at pics...also where the word ammonia comes from. i guess in ancient times there ammonia salts game from near a temple to some version of the god.
