Modern Haiti: 1969 109 Gourdes Gold - Scarce Date

    I really like this design, simple yet striking. This date (1969) seems quite a bit scarcer as well, nicely preserved to boot:

    100 Gourdes, NOT 109 - fat fingers on me.

    Addendum:
    Mintage of 140.
    Beautiful orange peel surfaces in the fields in hand - I guess this shows in the pictures.
