[QUOTE="EstateSalesAntiques, post: 1923970, member: 70913"]Hello guys!

I am new to the forum and have lots of experience with antiques, jewelry, precious gems, antique fine art, asian antiques etc... and recently got into coins because a customer of the company I work for had lots of 1800s coins for sale (lots of $1-$5 Gold pieces). I hardly know anything about coins...I recently came across this penny today in my own change jar. I thought it was quite amazing and have never seen anything so cool in my life! The line goes right through the "In God We Trust" I compared it with a normal penny, and this is obviously a cool and rare mint error. I need some awesome expert advice to help me determine a value! I would love any comments, feedback for selling coins in the future, feedback for buying coins, and I would love to get to know you all! (Remember I'm a very excellent and knowledgeable antique dealer, so if anyone needs some expert antique advice, or has anything to sell... I'm always here!)

Anyways, obviously something happened during the minting process to create this error...I have no idea what to call it or how much it's worth.
