    Walt Knoch It sure is

Guys I have a 1976 3 piece Bi-centennial 40% silver set that is missing part of the sarif on the Kennedy half in the I in Liberty. Is this common?

Wow, could we have an "accented hair" bicentennial Kennedy half now? For @Walt Knoch, that's the most easy to see diagnostic (the lopped off "I" serif) for the Accented Hair 1964 proof Kennedy half.

    That sure would be interesting.
But after a quick search of auctions. The same serif is actually missing on the bicentennial Half.
It seems to be part of the design.

A bar in Texas had a picture of the one-cent with Lincoln. Underneath, a sign read -
"In God we Trust - others pay in Cash !!!"

When I was doing my post-stroke speech therapy, that was the last hurdle - being able to say "serif" and NOT have it sound like "Sheriff".

Do you suppose if the Sheriff's office is ever vacant here, I'll see ALL 1964 Kennedy proofs as Accented Hair? [Think about it.]

The "or else" meaning, we're both going to come looking for you, and we're going to bring Chong with us. :)
