Ah, now I know how we can all increase our post counts quickly and tremendously: Everybody picks one or more of the topics that s/he does not find interesting, and merely states that s/he does not find those topics interesting. Now why one would do that, instead of reading and contributing to those threads only that one finds interesting, I don't know. But yes, the post count does go up. Christian

Having Germanic heritage myself, and having lived a large portion of my life among people whose primary language is a "low-German" dialect that has Swiss phonetic overtones, I am not totally unfamiliar with how language affects perception in some rather interesting ways. All four of my grandparents had German as their primary language.
