[QUOTE="ConfederateHalf, post: 26643511, member: 27946"]Now the Mint is CANCELLING orders that were received and confirmed PRIOR to the time that the mint pulled all silver products for re-pricing. I ordered a Teddy Roosevelt Silver Medal, a 2025 Silver Proof Morgan Dollar, and a 2025 Silver Proof Peace Dollar about 2 hours before the cutoff and got an order confirmation email.

Then 24 hours later I get an email from the Mint tonight claiming they were out of these products and thus had to cancel the order. I seriously doubt this. I think that they just got HAMMERED with orders the night before they pulled everything and the Mint's management decided to just cancel everything that had come in the day before. I don't see why they couldn't have just honored orders that came in before they shut everything down. The silver was purchased weeks ago when silver was way cheaper, so its not like they were going to lose any friggin' money.

This really ticked me off and this will be my LAST order with the mint. I was starting to get into medals, but now I'm soured on it.
