Mint set toned coins.

    I stand corrected, the mint sets are 1951 and up, except years none were minted, I do have the 65, 66, and 67 SM sets. The proof sets start in 1950 in my collection. I do have a 1950 unc set in a holder, but put together separately by my father.

    At least the coins have not been subjected to AT . Some of those AT I think are , or should be , seen as being damaged by the toning by various methods. Some of the natural are nice looking and others not so nice. Those old sets are really nice to have , but a little expensive for this guy. Dillan

    My apologies for the first set of pics. I didn’t look at them closely enough. These pics show the underlying luster which is what sets these coins apart from the rest.

    As I had said, I found this in a dealer junk box, but based on the toning, I believe it to be a Mint Set coin.
