Mint mark location on older nickles

    The thing is starting in 1942 and going through 1945 the nickels were made of 35% silver and ALL of them had a large mintmark over the dome to indicate the different composition and all three mints used mintmarks on the "nickels" in those years. When Henning made his counterfeits one of the obv dies he made was dated 1944 and it was combined with reverse dies that did NOT have that large mintmark creating a coin that didn't exist, a 1944 nickel with no mintmark. (They were also made of coppernickel and not the 35% silver alloy.)
