I was just sorting through my penny jar and found a few error Lincoln cents, this is one of my favorites. I was just hoping someone here could tell me what I have. In God We Trust is on the top rim of the penny. The bottom is a lot thicker than the top as well. I'm mainly a Morgan guy, I've recently just started looking into Lincoln cents. This is just one of the 12 error cents I've found in my jar and personally one of my favorites. I would love some feedback and advice as what I should do with this cent! Again, I'm new here.

    Thanks guys,

    Stephen

It's hard to see in the photos, but it looks like the coin has very, very slightly misaligned dies. Not enough to be worth a premium. Worth one cent.

Also.. What you are seeing through the words IN GOD WE TRUST is a result of a worn die strike and very common on Copper Plated Zinc Cents. Sorry but no premium on misaligned die strikes or worn die strikes
